Lord of the Rings Fan Film

LOTR Fan Fiction

In 2005 a high school student named Ryan Camp had an idea to raise money for the firehouse, a free local music venue. He decided that he would create a movie, and along with the help of his brother and a few friends, he would show this movie in the high school's performing arts center. He began filming that summer. Along with Andrew Gnagy, Josh Watson, and his brother Steven, Ryan Camp filmed through the worst and wettest conditions. But, as Andrew often joked, the cast was willing to do "anything for a good shot." After 40 hours of filming and a few minor injuries they had some excellent stuff, but, that was only the beginning. With very little help, Ryan Camp edited the film for almost 30 hours more. When the film was finally ready, it was shown in the auditorium and raised over $1000 for the firehouse.
